Hey girl! So glad to see the progress that you're making. I just spent 5 days with a friend of mine who has also had gastric bypass. She's about 10 months out of her surgery and has lost 125 lbs and still has a bit more to lose. We were talking about the surgery and she is very passionate about working with others who have gone through it. She began to attend a group for people that have had it and found that the group leaders were not only un-therapeutic (they weren't counselors) but also feeding lots of bad information. She is eventually going to attend workshops and become certified to work with others so they have a good group experience unlike hers.
She talked alot about still having her pre-surgery hangups, but she says the eating gets better. For the most part, she can eat 4 ounces of whatever she wants, but anything over that makes her barf. But she's very happy with the results and excited to see more weight come off (she's now at the stage where extra skin is a pain.)
If you want her contact info so you can e-mail her and talk to someone who has gone through it, I'd be more than happy to give it to you. She's a great person to talk to, as most of us counselors are. ;)
Keep up the good work girl, I got the pom-poms out and I'm cheering for you all the way!

Lys,
Just stopping by to see how you are doing. Things aren't the same at OOT without you but it looks like you are doing GREAT! Keep up the progress and I'll be checking back from time to time. I can really see the changes taking place.

Just checking in to she how the sis is doing... Looks great, keep it up. In the imortal words of Tom Hanks in A Leauge of Thier Own, "If it was easy everyone would do it. It's the hard that makes it great".
Kisses from Heather, I and the kids.
Love Scott
