It started with the traffic jam from hell. Thank you to those who sent me
good vibes. I needed them! I got to the hospital at 8:45 a.m. after spending
over 2 hours riding the brakes on 35S. Grrrr! Of all the mornings for there
to be an accident that blocks almost the entire highway!

Anyway, that threw off the whole schedule for the day, which meant that
instead of being done by lunchtime, I didn't get finished til almost 4:00
p.m. Ah well. It happens. Despite that, it was a fairly positive day. My
heart is still there, which is a plus *snerk* and it seems to be beating
well. My lungs are also still there, and are better than average! Woohoo!
"Normal" is 80% capacity and above. My lowest was 86% and my highest was
97%. Go me! Go singers! We rock!

I had to give blood out of both a vein and an artery. That was fun. So I
have a cute little bandage thingie on the left inner elbow AND the right
wrist.

I've been cardiogram-ed, sonogram-ed, and all sorts of other grams today.
Not to mention x-rayed and other types of fun radioactive type things.

All in all, I feel like a lab specimen. *snerks again*

I even got to undergo one of the joys of female life...peeing in a cup. Guys
have it SO easy when it comes to that!!!! Hrmph!!!!

I know, I know, too much information. *grin*

Anyway, if my GP's office got the referral to my filter surgeon's office,
then I'll have the filter put in tomorrow. (If not, then it's postponed til
Thursday or Friday.) Yay for sedatives! That's what they're giving me when
they're done! Thus why Shado will be driving me home. *grin*

So filter tomorrow, clear liquids on Saturday and Sunday. Monday I have to
be at the hospital at FIVE in the MORNING!!! *thud* but I'm the first person
scheduled for surgery that day, so I should be done and out fairly quickly.

IT'S HAPPENING!!! I can't BELIEVE it!!!! *grins and bounces around*
