February, 2004
I put up a web page about things that made Lys Livid. She seems none-to-pleased with this concept.
I sacrificed my future health, and purchased my wife an animal to which I'm allergic. [ see Jasmine.] The cat likes me better than her. I could be mistaken, but I believe the cold shoulder I've been getting recently is related to this.
Tonight, I seem to have pissed off the cat. I'd say my wife is gloating, but that would probably necessitate another entry on the page.
Last night Lys tells me she wants to go to IHOP for breakfast this morning. So she wakes up, sits down at her computer and starts reading email. Then she starts explaining to me in great detail about the contents of her email. I suggest to her we'll get to IHOP faster if she spends more time reading email and less time telling me about it. You guessed it - upset wife.
I was running late for an appointment and Lys was trying to shoo me out of the house. So I stood up and promptly stepped on my wife's foot. She jerked and cried out in startlement. "You shouldn't have put your foot in my way" was not the appropriate reaction on my part.
